Owned by the family of a mountain guide, La Chaumiere is found in Chamonix at the foot of Mont-Blanc 4010m, the highest mountain in Europe.

The hotel specialises in organising many mountain activities, from one week mountaineering courses to the ascent of Mont Blanc.
