La Chaumiere

The hotel was built at the beginning of the 20th century in typical Savoyard style. It is located 10 minutes walking distance from the town and the same distance from the picturesque Lac des Gaillands and its famous rock climbing crags.

The hotel accommodation

The hotel has 26 rooms on 2 floors. Rooms sleep 2, 3 or 4 people and all have en-suite bathrooms. Some rooms are available with balconies and all have fantastic views of either Mont Blanc and the Glacier des Bossons at the front of the hotel or the Brevent, part of the Aiguilles Rouge Range, at the back. Facilities are available for guests to change and shower on the day of departure.

The restaurant

Open every night, the restaurant features a daily menu of greatly appreciated home made cuisine. Also available are a choice of delicious local specialities - raclette, tartiflette or cheese fondue. A buffet breakfast is served every morning.

The bar

Our friendly bar is open every evening. Enjoy relaxing after a great day in the mountains - watching one of the many classic mountain films shown on the big screen every evening.
